Announcing BiG 1.0
BiG 1.0 is here, and it's loaded with new features and improvements. To get the update, simply ensure that the computer is connected to the internet, and restart BiG. If you have any questions, or experience difficulties updating, please contact us on the support page. We'd like to thank our users for their patience and support in developing and administering this major update. Please have a look at the new
user manual for additional information. Below is a list of the major changes made in version 1.0.

User Interface
- Gateway tab replaced with Jobs tab
- Shutdown button can be shown/hidden in the BiG settings
- New icons for nodes
- Added "touchscreen" mode with larger icons
- Re-designed the dashboard interface with large icons showing the sensor type and large last readings
- Can hide the graph in the Nodes tab
- Data logging pop-ups show progress of log transmission and communication errors
- Added setting to control whether BiG minimizes to tray or to taskbar
- New animated splash screen
- Device menu was moved into a tab
- Improved the multi-sensor configuration dialog
- Re-designed the sync settings tab page
General
- BiG can be set to start-up on Windows login in the BiG settings
- Export is now known as sync
- PDF Manual included and can be opened from the Help menu
- Check for updates in BiG
- Dial-up is used by all online features including e-mail/pager actions, and BiG updates
- New data/schema export formats (not backwards compatible, sorry)
- Fixed compatibility with Windows Vista and Windows 7
- Added feature to calibrate/zero sensors
- Added crash bug report sender to notify SMT of software issues
- Added custom qudatratic equation sensor type
- Added custom A/B wood type
- Added battery sensor types (9V, 4xAA, mV)
- Bug fixes
- Can now clear the default node
- Users can now serialize and commission BiG with their Analytics account
- Created a Windows installer
Device Connectivity
- Locked-down device diagnostics to prevent accidental harm
- Per-device autonomous timers
- Fixed issues with daylight savings and time zone shifting
