Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Production of sensors and related data acquisition

Job Title: Communications Coordinator

Location: #103-1089 East Kent Ave N, Vancouver, BC, V5X 4V9 Canada.

  • Execute and create social media campaigns through different platforms and maintain brand presence.

  • Translate and implement high level action plans into strategy campaigns for mass and targeted marketing.

  • Create professional and interesting copy for web and offline marketing.

  • Maintain and develop marketing materials to include media, print, web, and email information.

  • Coordinate graphic artists, technical writers, SMT engineers, customers, and salespeople for development of varied business materials.

  • Coordinate with the team to gather interesting content.

  • Coordinate and create SMT educational brand awareness visual media.

Job Title: Project Manager
Winnipeg, Manitoba
Work Schedule: 35-40 hours per week, full time or flexible part time
Wage: TBD based on experience

Position Overview:

The current position involves coordinating and managing the logistics and installation of both wireless and wired sensors used for monitoring a variety of different building and structural components.  Products are installed in both existing and new construction projects, stakeholders consist of contractors, project consultants and building owners. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project execution activities including management of all activities in the project plan, perform quality assurance, manage the installation trades and perform all necessary monitoring and controlling of the project.
  • Develop project plans, collect project requirements, define the project scope and create the work break down structure.  Perform all aspects of project time management including schedule definition and acitivity sequencing.  Budget and control costs associated with the project as well as manage local procurements.
  • Define and control risks associated with the project and handle all stakeholder communication and reporting.
  • The candidate shall provide contractor training, quality assurance testing, and trouble shooting of both wireless and wired electronic instrumentation systems.
  • Installation and programming of sensor parameters of system electronics. Systems are windows and web based. No formal programming experience required.
  • Provide solutions to existing knowledge database for common problems & resolutions.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Project management experience from the construction industry.
  • Has proven experience to review architectural drawings & layout of building systems
  • Ability to estimate construction related products and services beneficial.
  • Must be proficient in use of computer systems including MS office suite, web services, email
