Overview
General Description
The Building Intelligence Gateway (BiG) is a compact yet powerful computer designed to continually gather sensor data, provide event notification, and can be integrated with building control systems.
BiG provides simplified local data analysis for a wide variety of sensors. It can also forward collected data to the Building Analytics monitoring center for web access, long term storage, and powerful data analysis tools
BiG operates on Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 7, providing a familiar, and user-friendly interface. It communicates both wired and wirelessly to the building sensor network. It's design scales to accommodate projects ranging from single-family homes to large building complexes.
Applications
- Gateway to Building Analytics data center
- Interface to building management system(s)
- Real-time alarm & event Alerting
- Standalone real-time monitoring platform
Features
Fits in standard wall mount cabinets.
Rugged
Solid state storage and casing makes it suitable for harsh environments
User-friendly
Interface is designed using established standards and cutting edge research, providing the user with a simple and pleasant experience
Scalable
Careful forethought in software design permits communication to large sensor networks.
Responsive
Event handling and alarm processing allows BiG to be configured to notify personnel and interface to control systems.
Visual & Analytical
A unique real-time graph makes viewing and scanning large data sets a breeze. An advanced graphing tool supports detailed analysis. An export function allows for use in other software such as Microsoft Excel.
Expandable
Ability to forward collected data to monitoring center for storage and powerful analysis tools.
Customizable
