What is a Leak Detection System?
A leak detection system is a network of sensors permanently installed in the roof assembly, which report moisture content.
For building owners and managers, a leak detection system assists with maintenance decisions and extend the useful life of the roof.
Augmented Reality
FutureCast Active enables cutting edge data visualisation - allowing maintenance teams to "see through" the membrane in real time, as the moisture sensors in the roof assembly show where moisture has accumulated. This aids repair efforts and cuts down on costly removal of the upper layers of the assembly.
Virtual Reality
The same roof performance data can be viewed in Virtual Reality right from your desktop, so you can keep track of large / remote sites without leaving the office.
How it Works
Extensive grid layouts
Target on penetrations and perimeter of the building
During construction or renovation, moisture detection sensors are laid out in a grid on top of the air/vapor barrier, below the waterproof membrane.
These sensors are connected to advanced monitoring electronics which record measurements and upload them to the cloud for review.
