Field Technician / Technologist (Full-time)
We are looking for a candidate that has a good work ethic, efficient, safe-minded, and has the ability to work in a team as well as independently.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an Entry-level Field Technician/Skilled Labor on a full-time basis to assist in installing our moisture monitoring systems at job sites. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will work in a small team as well as independently to perform field work and generate field reports, from provided work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

Connect wires, label cables, mount electronic boxes in walls, vector-map tapes and collect data at job site

Take photos and videos on site for documentation

Create field reports with site photos and coherent detailed description

Lift 50 lbs of gear and navigate construction job site terrain

Assist in basic production of electronics in head office when field work is not required

Follow all safety protocols, ISO procedures and work instructions

Requirements:

Previous construction industry experience preferred

Dexterity in handling wires, cables, and electronics.

Understanding of construction principles and procedures is an asset

Willingness to learn SMT technologies

A good cell phone for site photos

Candidates with WHMIS and Fall Arrest Certificate preferred

Having own vehicle is an asset

Having own PPE is an asset

Having own laptop is an asset
