Position Overview:

We are looking for an Electronics Production Technician who can join our strong engineering and production team to produce, test and prepare electronic products for use in construction environment. The successful candidate will work with the engineering and production team as well as independently complete tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, process, clean, install, assemble, rework, verify, test, solder, and/or inspect electronic and mechanical components, hardware, sub assemblies and final products

Use work instructions, drawings, methods, diagrams, standards or other specifications in accordance with established assembly procedures.

Process final assembly of electronics, connectors, housings into complete package ready for shipping
​

Outline production requirements from high level project projections and communicate with operations director on delivery schedule.

Communicate, manage and negotiate with outside contract manufacturers for product production times and quantities

Maintain internal inventory management software system for products WIP, inventory and shipping products.
​

Maintain a clean and organized workspace and other duties as assigned
​​

Performance Competencies:
​
-
Mechanical, Electrical, Computer or Mechatronics diploma or similar is an asset
​​
-
2+ years of electronic/mechanical assembly experience
​
-
Excellent attention to detail and patience working with components, parts and tools
​
-
Willingness to learn and adapt to new working methods and procedures
-
Proficient with computers, technology and electronics and control system construction assemblies.
​​

Highly motivated and organized, with the ability to accept ambiguity and deliver exceptional results on tight schedules.
​​

Self-motivated, responsible, organized and flexible to adapt to changing priorities
