Residential Building: Monitoring System Install & Repairs

Details:

A high-end residential building is undergoing renovations to repair water damage that has occurred over many years. To ensure the success of the renovation, and to monitor future damage, the building owner and management are installing moisture detection sensors, without disturbing the tenants.

SMT provided a turn-key monitoring system to investigate current building moisture levels in areas under renovation, with additional monitoring to confirm moisture level.

The sensors and data acquisition system are installed external to the building to enable the sensor to be solar powered.

The SMT proprietary solar powered WiDAQ is externally mounted and requires no other power source or communication wires. The sensor cables enable the installation of the moisture and temperature detection within the hidden areas of the wall assembly.
