SMT Involved with Minoru Park Expansion

In 2015, SMT Research took part in the construction of Kiwanis Minoru Park Tower located in the Brighouse Village neighborhood in Richmond. The tower is a 16-story building consisting of 296 one bedroom apartments for Senior living.

SMT Research was primarily responsible for scanning the plaza deck of low income housing and condominiums. More Specifically, SMT Research’s Building Intelli, which monitors the membrane, and our DigiSCAN 360 Services which pinpoints leak locations prior to covering the membrane, were used in this project.

Furthermore, the renovations successfully met the requirements of Roofing Contractors of British Columbia (RCABC) plaza deck waterproofing systems. Moving forward with the capital program, we will also see the completion of a new City Centre Community Centre at the end of 2017.

At SMT Research, we are trusted with our Waterproofing Guarantee Program to ensure your building is protected.
