The Opportunity:

Our dynamic and growing company is seeking skilled Field Service Project Managers to support our expanding operations across the United States and Canada. This exciting role involves traveling to client sites to perform installations, maintenance, service, and data collection for our advanced moisture monitoring systems, offering the unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and projects.


Immediate Employment - closing June 30 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform non-destructive testing practices and project site data collections.

  • Maintain detailed photo and videographic records of site conditions and work performed.

  • Create comprehensive field reports with site photos and coherent, detailed descriptions using provided templates.

  • Carry and manage testing equipment and tools, typically around 50 lbs.

  • Navigate construction site environments safely and effectively.

  • Execute periodic FutureCast system activations and forecasting routines

  • Modify or enhance existing system configurations as required

  • Perform repairs and upgrades on system hardware components

  • Diagnose and resolve wireless communication issues in the field

  • Maintain system enclosures and supporting infrastructure

  • Conduct regular Digiscan and Tramex testing, in line with operational standards

  • Contribute to multi-day installations as needed; extended, multi-week site deployments will generally be avoided

Operational Leadership & Oversight

  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of installation, operational, and maintenance services; provide strategic recommendations for improvement

  • Consult with senior leadership to establish and implement policies governing the development, deployment, and maintenance of services

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and directives issued by relevant government or industry regulatory institutions

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients representatives on-site, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of field technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

  • Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient workflow.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment focused on safety and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Mandatory: Valid driver’s license with the ability to Canada without restrictions.

  • Mandatory: easy access to office / project site: 9889 Montrose Rd., Niagara Falls, ON L0S 1K0

  • Mandatory: Willingness and ability to travel throughout Ontario often on short notice.

  • Mandatory: Dexterity in handling wires, cables, and electronics.

  • Mandatory: Aptitude and willingness to learn and master SMT's proprietary technologies, procedures, and digital platforms.

  • Mandatory: A reliable smartphone with a good quality camera for site photos, communication, and digital compliance submittals.

  • Strong mechanical and analytical skills.

  • Comprehensive technical writing skills for clear and concise report generation.

  • Effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated, responsible, punctual, and highly organized with excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including varying outdoor conditions (Wind, Rain, Snow, Sun).

  • Preferred: Experience working in both US and Canadian markets is a significant advantage.

  • Preferred: Construction industry experience.

  • Preferred: Understanding of construction principles and procedures.

  • Preferred: Understanding of Electrical, Plumbing, & Roofing installation methods.

  • Preferred: Specializations in Carpentry, Pipefitting, PLC Integrations, Low Voltage Electrical, or general Electrical experience.

  • Preferred: Candidates with current WHMIS, OSHA 10/30, and/or Fall Arrest/Protection certification.
